Select
Aviation
catered
for 25,000 inflight meals for the Haj Season.
There was an increase of flights from last year's 18 flights to 24
flights for the entire Haj.
Inflight Catering and
Crew Training for the
Haj Season Inflight Catering
will be handled again
by Select Aviation
at the Johor Bahru Station
for 2002 - 2004.

Inflight
Services At Subang Airport (SZB)
|
Select
Aviation, since May 2000, has been assigned by KL Airport
Services (KLAS) as the handling company for inflight catering
for flights based in Subang Airport (SZB). Airlines we service
include Air Asia, Transmile, Pelangi and all corporate and private
jets.
Select
Aviation handles flights out of Subang Airport including flights
to Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. Our ad-hoc flights include the US
Air Force, the US Navy, Airod and frequent business jets.

To
facilitate this, Select Aviation has moved to a brand new 5,000
sq ft Catering Facility at Subang Airport since May 2000. We have
a total of over 25 staff working at our around the clock 24-hour
Catering Facility on a shift basis, inclusive of Co-ordinators,
Supervisors, Drivers, Cleaners, Tray Set Personnel and Management
Staff, who also manage 5 highlifts and 2 refrigeration trucks.
Select Aviation's newly designated SITA Line is SZBDOXH in
conjunction with KLAS Inflight Catering. |
Air
Asia Batch 6 Cabin Crew Training
| Air
Asia Batch 6 Cabin Crew Training was successfully conducted, with
18 crew fully trained and currently flying Air Asia scheduled routes.
The crew were given an intensive 2 month training program on all
the relevant areas of the modules. |
The
Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) was on hand to audit the Training
Centre in regards to the Basic and Safety Emergency Procedures Training
conducted. |
Training
for Berjaya Air Cabin Crew
| Select
Aviation also trained a small batch of Berjaya Air Crew for
their expanding flights to various destinations in Malaysia, Indonesia
and Singapore, including resort destinations in Pulau Tioman. |
Berjaya
operates a fleet of 4 of the Dash 7 aircraft type and are planning
to expand further in the future. |
Cabin
Crew Training Updates
| More
modules have been added into Select Aviation's Cabin Crew Training
Program. These include Massage, Aromatherapy and Hairdressing. |
